I have surplus inventory
Book an inventory review: one category, a controlled sample, and an honest read on whether recovery is worth it for you.
TRUST AND CONTROL
A company deciding whether to send an inventory export to a young platform is asking three separate questions. Who are these people. What does the product actually do with the data. And what happens when something goes wrong. This page answers all three, and states plainly where an answer is not yet available.
PRINCIPLES
Pilot
Participation is limited to verified business entities on both sides. There is no consumer side and no anonymous account.
No record is published because a model was confident about it. A named person on the seller side accepts it first.
Private, restricted to approved buyers, or open to verified businesses, decided per item and enforced at publication.
Approvals and price changes are recorded with owner and timestamp, so any state can be reconstructed.
Regulated and dangerous categories are excluded from the base scope or gated for expert review before anything can be offered.
Commercially sensitive fields never become public, and inventory data is not repurposed for anything the seller has not agreed to.
DATA BOUNDARIES
The default answer to every ambiguous field is private. Where a field can be opened up, it is a seller decision, not a platform default.
| Data | Public | Verified users | Private |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product name and manufacturer part number | Yes | Yes | — |
| Category and basic attributes | Yes | Yes | — |
| Condition and packaging state | Yes | Yes | — |
| Exact available quantity | Optional | Yes | Private by default |
| Seller identity | Optional | Yes | Configurable |
| Exact warehouse location | No | No | Always private |
| Cost and book value | No | No | Always private |
| Price floor and pricing policy | No | No | Always private |
| Internal material number | No | No | Always private |
| Buyer request contents | No | No | Always private |
Optional means the seller may enable it per item. Configurable means it is set at account level and can be overridden per offer.
A matrix of ten data types against public, verified user and private visibility, showing that product name, category and condition can be public while exact location, cost, book value, price floor and internal material numbers are always private.
TRACEABILITY
The pattern is the same at each step. The system proposes: this record looks recoverable, this is probably the manufacturer, this price could move today. A person on the seller side accepts, adjusts or rejects. The event is written to a log with who, what and when. That sequence is what makes an automated workflow acceptable inside a company that has to answer for its inventory, and it is why nothing here runs end to end without a person in it.
Pilot
Audit records cover approvals, price changes, visibility changes and withdrawals.
Three linked panels showing a system suggestion with a confidence score, a required human decision that adjusts the quantity, and a logged event recording actor, action, value and timestamp.
PRODUCT BOUNDARIES
A surplus network without category discipline becomes a route for things that should not move. The list below is deliberately conservative and will widen only with expert review, never by exception.
These are not offered, brokered or matched under any circumstances.
These categories carry compliance obligations that have to be established per item before anything is offered.
CONTACT
Each route goes to a named owner with a defined response commitment. A general inbox that nobody owns is worse than no inbox at all.
Book an inventory review: one category, a controlled sample, and an honest read on whether recovery is worth it for you.
Submit a request with the manufacturer, part number or bill of materials, and we will check current and incoming supply.
Apply as a referral, implementation or technology partner. The first conversation is technical.
Ask for the security and data-processing overview, or report a vulnerability. Security reports are acknowledged before anything else in the queue.
Company background, the pilot, and what is and is not claimed. Ask us for the current status rather than inferring it.
If none of the above fits, use the general route and it will be directed to the right person.
Choose the intent that fits and the message reaches the owner of that route.
For a first pilot: inventory master data and movement history for one category. Typically material number, description, quantity, unit, location, last movement date and any manufacturer or identifier fields you hold. What is not needed: customer data, financial system data, personal data of employees, or anything outside the agreed category.
Inside the EU. The specific hosting arrangements, sub-processors and retention periods are covered in the security and data-processing overview, which we send on request rather than publish, so that you receive the current version rather than a cached one.
Not without an explicit agreement. Enrichment of your records is performed to produce your offers. Any use of your data beyond that requires a separate written agreement, and declining it does not limit the product.
For a sample-based pilot, usually whoever owns data export approval in IT, plus the business owner of the category. A full integration involves more. Deliberately, the first step needs the smallest possible approval.
Use the security route in the contact section. Security reports are acknowledged before anything else in the queue, and we will tell you what we found and what we changed.
It is deleted on request, and the deletion is confirmed to you. Retention periods and the deletion process are set out in the data-processing overview and in the privacy notice.
Not yet, and we will not imply otherwise. The company is early and the honest position is that controls exist and a formal certification does not. If a certification is a requirement for you, tell us at the first conversation rather than at contract stage.
